Mystery Trackers

The woman thought for a moment before answering quietly.

"Yes. There is actually something weird in here. Jun was playing with his friends when that blasted yellow Swablu came and took his attention."

"We know that shiny Swablu is the culprit for the children being taken. Can you tell us what its trainer looked like?"

"H-he looked scary, a man around his twenties. I had thought he was going to give Jun a candy or something so I didn't call him back..." The woman said, looking at her sleeping son.

"It's okay now, ma'am, we'll solve this case and bring the children back safely."

"Swablu~."

"Hm... That narrows it down a bit but not by much. Most of the men in Pyrite looked that age with a lip ring." he said as he thought to himself. "Hm... Hey would the mayor happen to be home? Maybe he could help out too."

"Yeah, that would be a great help for us, if he's willing and home that is." Saki said thoughtfully. She hoped that this man's power did not go too far as to control the mayors as well.

"Yes, he's home as far as I know. His house is the big red one at the end of this road."

"Thank you for all your help, ma'am, we'll see the mayor now."

"Hm.. Looks like its over there" He said shortly after they stepped outside. "Its uh.. a tad smaller than I had imagined but still kinda big."

"Let's go in then." Saki said, confidently going up to the door and knocking it.

"Hello, mr. Mayor? Are you in there?"

"Swablu~."

"Hm... seems uh.. kinda empty. Maybe hes not here at the moment?" He said curiously as he looked around.

Just as Saki was about to nod and get away from the door, the door suddenly opened.

"Hello? How can I help you?" The woman asked them with a raised eyebrow.

"Hi. We were looking for the Mayor, miss. We're detectives for the missing children case." Saki said smiling politely.

"Oh, get inside. I'll call mayor immediately, he went to the police station for the news."

"That'd be awesome."

A few minutes pass by before we see the door opeh with the mayor walking through. "Did you call for me Anna?" he said as he closed the door behind him.

"Hello there. We're the detectives for the missing children's case, sir." Saki said politely.

"Oh, come in, come in. We were waiting for you."

"Swablu~?"

"Really? Then let us talk about the case, sir." Saki said, walking to catch up as the mayor adn her partner started walking towards the living room.

"You must know these children have a special ability, right?"

Saki and Daisuke looked at eachother with confusion. This was not in the file they'd been given.

"Special ability? of what kind exactly?" He said curious as to what it is.

Mayor: "These particular children have the ability to see the aura of shadow pokemon.

Daisuke turns almost a ghostly white hearing this. "S-s-s-shadow pokemon?! This... just got waaaay worse than just simple kidnappings.

"Then the gang that wanted to create Shadow Pokémon is back, you're saying?" Saki said, pale as well. To her horror, mayor nodded.

"They're our first suspects, to be honest."

"Swablu~."

"Isn't a Swablu with them though? I take it you caught one of them."

"No! Gigaflare is my Pokémon, not connected to any gangs besides us!" Saki said, protectively holding the Cotton Bird Pokémon.

"Gig here has been with Saki for as long as I can remember. Same here with me and Lily." he said as he petted her head with her smiling. "Osha! ^u^"

"Yeah, and the Swablu you're talking about is a shiny Pokémon. We know because we saved one of the children and his mom told us about it." Saki said, still holding Gigaflare in her arms.

"Swablu~!"

Mayor nodded and then, reached behind the armchair he was sitting on and brought a folder out and gave it to Daisuke.

"This is the list of the children kidnapped from here so far."

"This isnt good. Thanks sir for this. Come on Saki lets go somewhere abit more quiet and read over this." he said still panicing alittle from the news

"Yes, let's go." Saki said, frowning.

"You can go to the Serenity Café. It's the building two buildings to the left of where we are at the moment."

"Thank you, sir. We'll be right there if you need us for something."

"Swa~." Gigaflare cooed from Saki's head, cheerful as ever.

"Lets get to heading that way then" he said as he held the door open waiting for Sakito.

"Thank you, gentleman." Saki said, giggling at the look on Daisuke's face and they went to the café, sitting down onto a secluded corner.

"So what do we have so far?"

"Well first off we should report this discovery back to Looker at HQ. He's want to know about this asap. As far as evidence goes.. we dont really have anything else

"Yeah, you contact him then, I will snoop around for more intel." Saki said with a nod of her head. Then she got up and left the café with fast, even steps, Gigaflare perched on top of her head.

As soon as Saki leaves Daisuke pulls out his communicator and contacts him "Hello? Looker are you there? Its agent Daisuke. We got a problem." he said with seriousness in his voice

"Well, Giga, now we're gonna have to separate for this." Saki said seriously. She hated to be separated from her beloved partner Pokémon but there was no other choice.

"Swa??"

"I'll go back to that big tower thing we saw on the way here. And you're gonna go to the nearest park and see if the kidnapper is anywhere around the children, alright? If he is with that blasted shiny Swablu, stop them with everything you've got, alright?"

"What happened, agent Daisuke?" Looker asked, listening intently.

"If what the mayor of Phenac city just told me is true sir.. Then it seems we may have more than just kidnappings by a simple costumed crook." he said as he started to shudder abit at the next part. "You recall the mess Team Cipher got the Orre region into last time using Team Snagem right?"

"Yes?" Looker said. "Is it them again?" Looker asked, frown obvious in his tone of voice.

~Meanwhile with Saki~

Saki came in front of the tall tower, frowning seriously.

"Let's see what is your mystery~." Was all she said before walking right in front of it and what she saw made her laugh slightly. There was a lock puzzle on the door.

"Oh, you so shouldn't have done that."

"It seems that way sir. Appearently they're looking for kids who can see the aura of shadow pokemon in an atempt to make ones stronger than the XD001 incident." shudders more like this might be bothering him personally abit.
